Traffic Police To Utilize Radar Speed Tracking Devices

(Cabinet Notes) Given the recent fatal accident on Friars Hill Road, the Cabinet held a discussion on discouraging drivers from speeding on those smooth surfaces.

It was determined that frequent use of radar-speed-tracking devices, utilized by the Traffic Police, will be employed to catch and to deter speedsters from using the pothole-free highways inappropriately.

Meantime, the APUA General Manager next addressed the issue of lights on the two highways—Friars Hill Road and Sir George Walter Highway—that have been recently rebuilt.

Solar lights, evenly spaced, are planned for both highways.
