Road Safety Survey to determine compliance of road users to traffic laws

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda (GOAB) is conducting its first National Road Safety Survey to determine the compliance of road users of the national traffic law by road users with emphases on the use of seat belts and the use of mobile phones while driving.

The survey aims to collect data on community knowledge, attitudes and self-reported behaviors on our roads.

The confidential road safety survey is available online on the Government of Antigua and Barbuda Website: www.ab.gov.ag and on facebook on the Ministry of Works and the PUMU Antigua and Barbuda.

  1. This is like asking if the sky is blue. The most unsafe roads I’ve ever driven on.
    You give a man clean and modern roads like Friars then he drive too damn quick… Dangerous
    You give a man a chopped up road he weave all over the place in his low down Honda… Dangerous
    Whatever situation you give, there’s always a fool whose gonna do what he pleases because traffic law isn’t strict enough for anyone to be worried about…

    • I watched outside my work place on Friar’s Hill Road one morning all the people being pulled over by Police and the Traffic Police. Instead of just complying with the law, almost everyone argued when they were caught without seat belts and when they were on the phones.

      I am all for fines and stiff ones too.
